Hello again —
Welcome to the second fabulous interview I’m excited to feature this week!
I don’t know if you’ve noticed how many book launches there’ve been this week? It makes sense since this is the week after Labor Day and we’re firmly out of the summer season (at least mentally). But that’s the reason you’re getting two emails from me in the same week. I’m happy to help these special authors celebrate their book launches.
Today’s interview features Margaret Mizushima, author of the Timber Creek K-9 mystery series, as we celebrate the launch of book #11 - Fighting Edge. (Scroll down for full bio and descriptions of her books!)
ABOUT ‘THE ASIDE’
I’m an author (as you all know), but you might not know that I have a journalism degree . . . so here I get to channel my insatiable curiosity. (Some might call this nosiness!) I’m excited to ask authors about their work and the ideas that shape their writing—and it’ll be fun to ask some quirky questions, too.
If you love reading, writing, or simply learning more about some of your favorite authors, you’re in the right place.
Let’s step off the page and begin!
ABOUT MARGARET’S BOOKS
New Release #11
Set in the rugged Colorado Rockies, the Timber Creek K-9 Mysteries follow Deputy Mattie Cobb and her highly skilled K-9 partner, Robo, as they investigate murders, disappearances, and other crimes in their small mountain community. Alongside veterinarian Cole Walker, Mattie and Robo face dangerous criminals, challenging terrain, and secrets that run deep. Combining authentic police procedure, suspense, canine expertise, and compelling personal relationships, this gripping series delivers mysteries with heart, action, and plenty of twists.
