In this episode of Strange but True: Tales from Authors. . .Tracey S. Phillips talks about her choice to write as Karissa Knight for her spicy romantic suspense series, Mina's Choice.
Thanks so much for this interview, Val! I had so much fun 'coming out' with you. And choosing a pen name is a tough choice. I hope this helps other authors make that decision.
Oh boy -- I'm pretty sure I had more than you. I don't even realize I'm doing it -- my favorite marble mouth phrase appears to be -- So, but um -- over and over. I know what that looks like for the voice pattern in the audio. There's some editing software that I'm curious about called Descript that allows you to edit from the transcript. That would really help me find those pesky 'ummms' . . . I want to see where there's some sort of study that shows the use of 'um' is a sign of superior intellect. :)
Congratulations on launch day for THE CLIFF DIVER. I'm obviously a fan of the series, the author, and Valerie's Strange but True Tales, as well. Happy trails to all.

PS, I've heard myself in interview and I can't imagine how many "ums" you had to cut-LOL! Thanks for making me sound professional.

Happy publication day! I, too, am a fan of the Mina's Choice series.
Thank you Laurie!
